Haiti Project

About Our Project

In rural Haiti, many families are trapped in a cycle of poverty that is passed from generation to generation.  Without a solid education, it is impossible for the children in these families to escape a life of poverty.

This is the heart of Celebration Christian School’s work: to bring hope to children and families through faith, education, and provision.  We are working alongside New Vision Ministries, a non-profit ministry, that seeks to end poverty in Haiti through feeding programs, education, and job training.

This syncs very closely with our sister company, Extollo International, and their efforts to build a training center and trade school in Haiti.

One of the things we saw early on was a great need for practical and effective classroom teaching skills, and Celebration Christian School has started plans for a teacher’s training program to address this need.

Unfortunately, only one in four children have that opportunity to go to school in Haiti. New Vision Ministries is currently sponsoring 82 children this year.  We hope to multiply that number in the years to come.  But we cannot do it alone.  We need experienced teacher trainers, volunteers, and donors so that we can continue to meet the demand of educators from across Haiti.

Our efforts are not just about rebuilding schools or feeding starving people.  It is much more about bringing hope.  Haiti is a place of hopelessness.  It is a place where people truly believe that their condition cannot improve.  So that is where you come in.  You have the chance to offer them true hope. You have the chance to give moms hope that their baby will be able to get medicine when they are sick.

So please join us as we offer the Haitian people a vision of hope.  We are excited for the work that God has planned for us this year, and we hope that you are able to partner with us through prayer, finances, or participation as a volunteer.  We cannot do this without your help.
